Florine Clomegah is a driven and focused Senior Manager, who has acquired experience in delivering key business solutions within leading organisations, and the overseeing of complex projects and programmes, business, key operations, events management, and units leadership, utilising management and strategic expertise. Florine has excellent leadership skills and is adept at building and managing key relationships including stakeholders’ engagement, customers and employees, effectively translating operational requirements and overseeing all issues through to completion. She has managed multiple events and delivered plenaries, conferences, seminars, workshops for world leading organisations such as ECOWAS, with the participation of World bank, OECD, various cabinet ministers, and Heads of States or Government. As an International Public Servant, Florine was a board member of GIABA, an ECOWAS Agency. Further she has worked for the British Civil service: as a former Civil Servant, she organised numerous training and learning seminars, workshops, for HM Land Registry. Florine is committed to women’s rights, and believes that every woman should be the master of her life, the master of her fate.

The aim of the Initiative Gala was to raise awareness and funds for IWI's programmes and advocacy outreach, in particular our Safe Birthing Programme. In all, the funds raised at the gala will allow IWI to help close to 12,800 women at thirteen health centres in the Amolatar District of northern Uganda.
