Helena is both a freelance writer and editor, working mainly from home just outside London. She has always been passionate about working to promote the rights of women and girls, and to help to highlight the many injustices which happen all over the world, for the benefit of those who may feel that they have no voice. She has an English law degree and also holds a masters’ degree in international law and human rights. Before becoming a freelance writer, she worked in communications within some well-known national and international charities, with a particular focus on women’s health and maternal health, both in the UK and overseas.
